The latest surf report is in and the best swells of the season can be found at the most technologically advanced ’water ride park’ on earth, WhiteWater World.

Get Wet Surf School has jumped on board to bring this dream to life with a brand new tourism product that is set to create waves amongst local pros, weekend warriors and first timers alike.

Located on the Gold Coast, WhiteWater World’s Cave of Waves provides a safe, controlled environment where the water is warm and the waves are on tap.

Regardless of age or skill, everyone can feel the rush of riding a wave! The 2,685 square metre body of water pushes the boundaries of wave pool technology with a surging wave of up to 1.4 metres that travels over 50 metres to shore. Underwater cameras to keep watch on things below the surface.

It’s the perfect learning environment for novice surfers and tourists free from rips, tides, currents, shifting sand banks and nasty marine stingers.

The passionate and friendly Get Wet instructors guarantee to get you up first time, every time, so gung-ho grommets and grown-ups can carve it up and cut back in an environment designed to handle any wipeout.

All lessons are lifeguard supervised so you can hop on your foamie, hang ten and go hard from the word go.

Get Wet Surf School is a fully licensed, family owned and operated business that teaches the skills necessary to ride a board along with surf safety messages and surf etiquette with coaches that boast over 15 years experience.

Learn to Surf lessons at WhiteWater World are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 8.30am-10.30am, outside of the park’s normal operating hours. For $95 per person, you get a two hour surf lesson, all equipment supplied, a CD full of pictures to immortalise the moment, free transport (*conditions apply) AND a whole day at Australia’s hottest water park.

The water is heated to a balmy 26 degrees so you can keep your cool while you find your sea legs.

Change rooms are available and rashies are provided, but make sure you BYO towel and swimwear.
