Charities
Dreamworld is a place where dreams come true for children of all ages and we support charities and initiatives for children experiencing hardship, disabilities and sickness who would benefit from visiting such a magical location.
So how can I get support for my charity?
Fundraising Tickets
The team at Dreamworld/WhiteWater World have big hearts, but not endless resources and we are streamlining our activities to get behind specific charities that share a similar objective of bringing happiness to families and children in need. This year Dreamworld will concentrate on supporting the following Foundations:
Complimentary tickets for fundraising purposes
Dreamworld will support the following charities that assist families and children in need.
- The Make A Wish Foundation
- The Starlight Foundation
- Camp Quality
- Gold Coast Children's Hospital
- Children's Health Foundation Queensland
- Ronald McDonald House Herston
- Hopewell Hospice & Paradise Kids Children Charity
In addition, we will consider providing complimentary tickets to charity organisations that support underprivileged children who reside within the Coolangatta, Caloundra and Toowoomba triangle. Priority will be given to those organizations that have a high profile brand and which can provide exposure for our parks via brand placement in promotional material, access to data bases and articles in newsletters and newspapers.
Please note we can supply other community organisations such as sporting and scouting associations with complimentary tickets for fundraising purposes if the organisation also reserves a group booking for breakups and/or social functions. Terms and conditions apply. Please contact the Booking Centre on 07 5588 1111:

Launches & Events
Each year, the Dreamworld team gets behind at least
two local charity activities ranging from the Leukaemia Foundation’s
Shave for a Cure to Movember and Cancer Council Morning Tea and more.
If you wish to involve Dreamworld in your charity event, please note
that due to overwhelming requests, we can only assist activities that
are held onsite at Dreamworld and WhiteWater World and which fit with
our core brand values of helping disadvantaged children and families
within the local region. Preference will be given to those activities
that help generate good will and/or ticket sales for Dreamworld and
WhiteWater World and which are confirmed at least 2 months in advance
of the event.
When presenting your case, please provide details on the following?
1. Aims, objectives and beneficiaries of the project/event?
2. Project time line and expected outcomes
3. How does your event fit with Dreamworld’s core values?
4. How will your event increase publicity and recognition of
Dreamworld? (Please note that we would like more input than logo and
credit placement.
• Do you have a media relations plan or media partners for the event?
• Do you have access to a celebrity or high profiled personality who agrees to become your public figurehead for the event?
• Do you have an unusual story angle that would interest the media?
• Will you be announcing the Dreamworld-associated event before huge audiences? i.e. at a football match?

Character Appearances
Characters
Due to the unusual size of our characters and their special transfer
requirements and dressing room needs, taking Dreamworld characters off
site for charity events can be a costly exercise and will only be
entertained where major media partners have shown commitment or when
the characters appear before mass audiences. For consideration, please
email dwpr@dreamworld.com.au and clearly address the media partners
involved, the number of people expected to attend your event, and the
type of media coverage Dreamworld can expect as a result?
Should your request fall outside these parameters and you still wish to
book our characters, prices start from around $1000 for Kenny and
Belinda and a chaperone. To find out more, please contact Dreamworld
Entertainment on 07 5605 8274.
Native Animals
Dreamworld’s native animals will only be taken offsite to help us
promote issues facing our endangered species or to drive awareness to a
widespread audience of Dreamworld’s Australian Wildlife Experience.
Please contact Ronda_lumsden@dreamworld.com.au at Australian Wildlife
Experience for more information and note that should your event not
meet the above parameters, an animal experience starts from around
$2000 and includes three native animals and a 30 minute discussion /
appearance with a Dreamworld handler. A percentage of this fee is
directed back into Dreamworld’s Conservation Fund.
